Well its happened, and it appears not even a new Prime Minister is going to influence Britain’s decision to exit from the EU.
Barring all legal challenges Brexit will go ahead as planned, hopefully sooner rather than later, but with an overall maximum 2-year changeover plan.
How will that effect SME’s here in Australia?
Australian’s need not spend too much time polishing their crystal balls trying to see their way through the economic haze. Clear image or not, it is a brave person that predicts how this major economic challenge will subsequently pan out.
One thing is for sure, there is still good profits to be made by capable Australian business owners who work hard, find a point of difference and have a positive outlook.
Brits should expect short term confusion with perhaps some long term benefits. The rest of Europe might need to sit and ponder. The “PIGS” will be restless, as they may find it more difficult to borrow given a significantly weakened EU.
Here in the land of plenty it must be business as usual.
For the positive thinker……… get stuck into it, whilst your competitors have their heads in their hands, seize the moment and try to take advantage of the situation.
After all,
“The difference between winners and losers is that sometimes winners decide to do things losers won’t do!”
